Adam Dougherty is an artist, sculptor and special effects designer at StudioADI. He creates models of animals and monsters, who later take part in filming. Adam has more than 15 years in his profession and, on his account, has many interesting projects.

For example, his team created models of huge dinosaurs for the film “World of the Jurassic Period”. In his spare time, Adam makes sculptures of scary but cute monsters and tries himself as a filmmaker. His work can be seen on Instagram, and there are many interesting snapshots of the process of creating layouts. Let’s take a look at what the monsters look like before they get to the screen.

The scale of their work is sometimes very impressive

Some layouts are created in real sizes, such as this Stegosaurus

The result was a 15-meter giant who went to film
