More than 90 thousand people have already participated in the project.
The Google company launched a pilot project World Draw, within which invited users from all over the world together to draw a single virtual city. Everyone can go to the World Draw site and start drawing some object — for example, a building, a tree, an airplane or a car.
As soon as the system sees that the outlines resemble some familiar object, it immediately turns the sketch into a 3D model, transfers it to a virtual city and places it in the space next to objects drawn by other users. Clicking on any of the objects, you can see when it appeared and the inhabitant of which country it drew.
At the moment, more than 90 thousand users from 150 countries have already participated in the project: together they painted about 140 thousand objects.
